Summary :
Starting with SAP Release 4.5, users can manipulate STOPMARKS within the transport buffer through the Transport Management System (STMS), specifically in the queue display. This function is contingent upon the activation of extended transport control (using CTC=1), which automatically generates a STOPMARK during a move action that subsequently cannot be removed. A workaround involves moving the STOPMARK before the first request in the queue and starting an import, which effectively deletes the STOPMARK as it processes an empty queue. Alternatively, updating the transport program (tp) to the latest version as specified for different releases (e.g., 270.00.11 for 45B and 287.08.06 for 46A) addresses the root cause of the issue. This correction is standardized from Release 4.6B onwards, complemented by directives for kernel component installations detailed in specific SAP Notes.
