Summary :
When creating an Export Datasource in SAP, it defaults to application component DM (Datamart). Changing this setting in transaction RSA6 may not persist when the Datasource is replicated, reverting back to DM. This issue stems from a program error. To override the default setting, run the report 'SAP_RSADMIN_MAINTAIN' with 'APPL_COMP_FOR_EXPORTDATASOURCE' as the OBJECT and 'X' as the VALUE to assign a different component. Note that BW 7.0 disables this by default, whereas it is enabled in BW 7.02 and 7.20. For updates or fixes, import the relevant support packages as specified, and consider the preliminary version notes provided.
