SAP Program UMG_REPROCESS_ASSIGN_SHORT - Assign language to reprocess entries with reason "too short"

Purpose
The report assigns languages to Reprocess Log entries having the reason"08 - Word too short". A language is assigned if all words in a workarea have assigned the same code page (i.e. compatible languages) in thesystem vocabulary.

Selection
The selection screen offers the following options:

  • Tables: you can restrict the actions on selected tables

  • Max Number of lines: defines the maximum number of lines to be processed
    • within one execution
    • Display only: if this option is selected possible language assignments
      • are displayed on an ABAP list
      • Change: if this option is selected the language assignments are stored
        • in the Reprocess Log
