Description
The report RM07CHDX is used to convert the batch master records whenchanging the batch level.
In the standard system, number assignment for batches is uniquelydefined per material at plant level. If it is configured in Customizingthat number assignment for batches is to be carried out at a differentlevel (for example, uniquely at client level), conversion is necessary.

Output
In the process of conversion, the batch records are created in tableMCH1 at the new level.
If the same batch number exists several times, the system issues anerror log. For this batch, you then have to use movement type 309 (inconjunction with the New Items function) to make a transfer postingfrom the old batch number to a new batch number.
