Summary :
In the variance calculation, SAP systems may fail to calculate lot-size variances for production orders, process orders, or product cost collectors due to the lot-size indicator being unset in the material cost estimate. This issue can be verified in transaction CK13N within the Itemization View under Details, where the “Lot-size-indep. ind.” should display 'F' but is absent. The resolution involves setting the lot-size indicator to 'F' if the workcenter's formula in the routing is not quantity-dependent. If incorrectly set, regenerate the formula per SAP Note 113679, then recreate, mark, and release the cost estimate. This solution applies only to future orders.
