Summary :
In SAP transaction DB13, users are currently unable to schedule backup jobs for systems connected via a remote database link due to a missing function. This issue affects users managing backups in environments using the DB2 UDB database on Unix and Windows platforms. To resolve this, users are advised to import the latest patch for the dmdb6bkp program as detailed in SAP Note 19466. Additionally, importing the corresponding Support Package is recommended, or alternatively, apply the interim correction instructions if the package is not available. Note that this solution ensures functionality only within a homogeneous DB2 UDB system landscape.
