Summary :
When SAPscript or Smart Form documents containing Chinese (traditional or simplified) characters are converted to PDFs using CONVERT_OTF or the CNPDF/ZCNPDF device type, issues may arise if Latin characters are set in HELVE or TIMES fonts, resulting in overlapping text, and a less noticeable misalignment with COURIER. This PDF corruption affects all CJK languages depending on Unicode settings for Japanese and Korean in RSTXPDF3. Errors linked to non-native device types post-support package changes in versions 620 and 640. Workarounds include utilizing Asian fonts or adjusting RSTXPDF3 settings, with a permanent fix in version 7.10 and subsequent support packages for earlier versions.
