Summary :
Following a successful 'startsap', application servers face termination due to shmget error related to handling large shared memory requirements for table statistics, induced by non-existent database view entries prefixed with /BIC/03 in the nametab. The inconsistency arises from uncleared temporary views and can't be resolved using "SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES". To remedy, delete these nametab entries using specific SQL commands and restart the SAP instance. Future occurrences can be prevented by running the extended "SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES" post-instance start. Furthermore, maintaining system updates through specific Support Packages for different BW versions is advised to ensure stability and consistency.
