Summary :
SAP Note addresses an issue where batches, created in production or process orders, do not appear in batch determination for later use as input material in other orders since Release 4.0A. This happens because the MCHB segment for storage location isn’t generated during batch creation. To correct this, first implement Note 84342 for Release 3.0D - 3.1H. Modify the source code as detailed in 'Corrections'. For existing inconsistencies, import the transport from Note 32236 and communicate with Development Support to rectify missing MCHB segments. Always specify storage location manually in the order post implementation.
