Summary :
This SAP Note identifies the required OS patches for installing and running SAP systems on HP-UX platforms. For HP-UX 11.31 (version 3), certain feature enablement and hardware enablement patches from March 2012 among others are mandatory. Similar recommendations exist for HP-UX 11.23 and HP-UX 11.11 across different databases like Oracle, Sybase ASE, DB2, and MaxDB. Installation of the latest patches, as suggested by HP, remains a general recommendation to ensure optimal system performance. Specific patch numbers, as well as additional minimum patch requirements, are provided for different SAP kernel releases and HP-UX versions to guide installation and updates.
