Summary :
SAP Note addresses application server overload due to excessive transactional and asynchronous RFC (tRFC and aRFC) activity, commonly used in ALE/Workflow scenarios. This can engage more work processes than necessary during parallel processing, potentially crippling server performance. From SAP Release 3.0F onwards, a method to manage and optimize RFC consumption has been established by assessing the server resources before performing RFC activities. Adjustments can dynamically manage resource allocations based on real-time server capacity, ensuring better performance and stability. Key transactions affected include CK64, CK65, and others. Enhancement is established through kernel updates and activating specific quota management parameters.
