SAP note addresses name tab buffer size limitations in Release 620 and earlier, restricted by the `rsdb/ntab/entrycount` profile parameter with a ceiling of 149,000 objects. Enhanced support comes with patch level 1128 for 64-bit platforms, enlarging the permissible limit to 67,000,000 objects, which can be increased further on demand. Post Release 640, these restrictions are lifted, allowing for more extensive memory allocation. Users requiring beyond the adjusted limits should report the issue to Development Support via the BC-DB-DBI component in the SAP Service Marketplace for tailored solutions.
