This SAP Note addresses the issue that IBANs were not automatically generated for Great Britain. Updates have been made to support IBAN creation using bank number, account number, and SWIFT code, as well as deriving bank details from an existing IBAN. Users must implement this by copying function modules SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00003030 and SAMPLE_INTERFACE_00003040 to their respective GB-specific modules and applying provided source code corrections. BTE settings for functions CONVERT_BANK_ACCOUNT_2_IBAN_GB and CONVERT_IBAN_2_BANK_ACCOUNT_GB must be configured in FIBF transaction for event-country mappings. Prerequisites include adhering to SAP Notes 392091 and 607986.
