SAP Note 604377 - SPAU/SPDD: Deleted objects are determined incorrectly

Component : Customer Extensions - SAP Notes Assistant

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/604377 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
In SAP environments, a known display error in transaction SPAU or SPDD may incorrectly list certain object types (e.g., Documentation, Index, and Messages) under deleted objects. This issue is triggered by a database error predominantly seen on Oracle versions 8.1.7.0 and 8.1.7.2, also potentially affecting other versions, especially if a Note Assistant add-on is implemented with Basis releases lower than 6.10. The resolution involves installing an Oracle patch (minimum version 8.1.7.4), referencing SAP Note 362060. Post-patch procedures include identifying and verifying the affected objects' states to decide on necessary adjustments or resetting to SAP standard configurations.
