SAP Note 558446 - KK16,KK46: No through-posting (EC-PCA, FI-SL)

Component : Cost Object Controlling - Planning

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/558446 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When posting planning data onto a cost object within SAP, users may find that although the through-posting function is active (as per transaction OKEV settings), values are not transitioning to Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA) or Special Purpose Ledger (FI-SL). This issue arises due to a program error where, despite integrated planning with Cost Center Accounting (where allocations typically reflect as credits), the cost objects incorrectly omit acting similarly outside of the CO module. The solution is a program correction that ensures cost objects behave as intended, which is also critical for KP96, KP90, and KP91 transactions post-implementation.

Key words :
integrated planning cost objects act, plan-integrated internal order, cost center/activity type, post planning data, profit center accounting, special purpose ledger, system updates plans, activate line items, delete planned costs, cost center accounting
