Attempting to create a group asset master record through either CreateFromData1 or CreateInclValues methods of FixedAsset (BUS1022), or directly using BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE1 or BAPI_FIXEDASSET_OVRTAKE_CREATE, may result in error AY114, indicating the asset class only allows group assets. This issue stems from a missing indicator in BAPIs to denote a group asset can be stored. To resolve this, BAPIs require an enhancement with the CREATEGROUPASSET indicator, necessitating the import of an Add-On Support Package containing the appropriate corrections.
