Summary :
SAP Note clarifies functionality and limitations of Transactions CO8A and CO8B that are specifically designed for the preliminary settlement of co-product orders and rework orders from Release 4.5 onwards. Transactions initially did not exist prior to Release 4.0. Post Release 4.6, these transactions automatically select and accept only those orders linked with co-product items or identified as rework orders based on trigger points from confirmations. For manually created production orders without material reference, settlement should be conducted using Transaction KO88 or through report RKO7CO88, utilizing additional features as per Note 99508 for extended order selection criteria.
