Summary :
While settling the rebate arrangements in SAP, a short dump specifically CONVT_OVERFLOW or BCD_FIELD_OVERFLOW occurs due to large or complex currency conversions causing a field overflow in settlement documents' condition field (KONV-KBETR), which cannot handle values larger than it is defined for. This error typically appears during the settlement processes in purchasing such as vendor or customer billing document settlements in SAP releases as of 4.5 or all. Workarounds include implementing correction instructions or updating with the suggested Support Package. Additionally, error message adjustments are advised to handle the display discrepancies without affecting operational processes.
