When executing non-cumulative queries in SAP Business Information Warehouse involving InfoCubes, if no data appears or data is unintelligible, check the validity slice within the validity table against the requested time interval in the query. The issue might stem from overly granular validity settings in the validity table, insufficient data loading for required validity characteristics, user-defined restrictions misaligning with time selection conditions, or inconsistent time characteristics within the InfoCube. Adjustments to validity intervals can be handled through Transaction RSDV, and as of patch 10, altering validity tables without reloading the cube is possible using program RSDG_CUBE_VALT_MODIFY. Queries must be regenerated post modifications.
