Summary :
As of SAP Release 4.6, modification of inspection lot origin assignments to movement types has been restricted. Previous configurations in table T156S are not automatically transferred during upgrades due to the critical nature of inspection lot settings on operational processes and inventory management. To alter these assignments in current versions, direct changes in table T156SY using Transaction SE16 are necessary, followed by testing key related functionalities. Consultation with SAP is advised to ensure system integrity.
