In SAP, when creating a purchase order using Transaction ME21N, users previously could adjust the language key in the header without existing items. However, input readiness for the language key on the communication subscreen is lost if data is entered in another subscreen or after pressing Enter post vendor entry. This issue traces back to the field selection key AKTV during subscreen transitions and Enter action. The resolution involves adjusting AKTV settings via Transaction OMF4, ensuring the language field in the Administrative data, header is set to Optional entry, and saving the changes.
