Summary :
In SAP HANA systems with Rev < 82 deployed in distributed environments, SQL statement execution may be prematurely cancelled if they exceed the idle_connection_timeout. This issue stems from a programming error where the primary connection to the master node is dropped after reaching the idle timeout, consequently aborting connections to worker nodes. To address this, temporarily set the idle_connection_timeout in indexserver.ini to 0. A permanent fix is included in SAP HANA Database Rev 82. Relevant setttings include client_distribution_mode and idle_connection_timeout configured in indexserver.ini.
