Summary :
SAP Note addresses an error in variant configuration when resetting a value in DDBX_MATCH_FACT associated with constraint processing, potentially also linked to BOM explosions. The issue arises when the same characteristic figures in separate instances within a single constraint condition. Deleting a characteristic value sometimes fails to clear dependent constraint data, causing persistent erroneous references. This error, also exacerbated by similarly constructed statements on distinct objects, has been infrequent but problematic. A correction for this is available in Release 3.0F, with adaptations for other 3.0 versions and guidance for post-3.1H versions in collective Note 143782.
