Summary :
This SAP Note addresses an issue in the MDM WebDynpro Item Details Component, where the multilingual 'Text Large' field could only accommodate 50 characters, despite the field configuration in MDM Console. The problem originated from the default UI input field length setting, which was not aligned with the MDM Console’s defined field width. This bug was initially identified in MDM 7.1 SP6. The resolution involves adjusting the UI input field length to match the Text Large field width as set in the MDM Console. This adjustment was implemented in MDM 7.1 SP06 Patch47, SP08 Patch09, and SP09. The affected component requiring replacement to address this issue is Java WebDynpro for NW 7.11.
