SAP Note 1641712 - Different transaction types with same UI configuration

Component : Change Request Management -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1641712 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
When utilizing the CRM WebClient UI for custom transaction types like ZMMJ and YMMJ in SAP Solution Manager IT Service Management, users may find that different transaction types inadvertently share UI configurations meant for standard Change Documents types such as Normal Change. This is due to the default behavior where custom transaction types adopt the UI configurations from the existing document types specified by SAP. To address this, SAP recommends applying provided correction instructions and configuring specific UI settings through transaction SM30 for each transaction type, using view AGS_WORK_CUSTOM and assigning unique values under UIC_PROC_TYPE_SPECIFIC_ for the respective transaction types.

Key words :
uic_proc_type_specific_01 = aic_cmcd_h/aiccmcdheaderef_zmmj               uic_proc_type_specific_02 = aic_cmcd_h/aiccmcdheaderef_ymmj, transaction types adapt standard ui configuration, = aic_cmcd_h/aiccmcdheaderef_< transaction type>, customer created transaction types, transaction types zmmj & ymmj, document type - normal change, normal change document type, urgent change document type, administrative change document type, general change document type
