Summary :
This SAP Note addresses performance issues due to a slow SELECT operation on RSSTATMANREQMAP in the RSS2_CHECK_DM_FOR_VALID_SID function module. The introduction of a secondary index for the RNSIDLAST field in RSICCONT is proposed to enhance performance. Users of SAP NetWeaver BW (various versions) are advised to import specific Support Packages as detailed to rectify the slowdown and stabilize system behavior. Additional instructions for creating new indices and pre-implementing corrections in urgent cases with reference to Note 875986 for guidance using SNOTE are provided.
