Summary :
SAP Note specifies customer exits EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001 and EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 for customizing internal batch number assignments in SAP systems. EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001 allows overriding the standard number range to utilize a user-defined standard for batch number determination. EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 enables modifications to assigned batch numbers or new assignments if suppressed by EXIT_SAPLV01Z_001. Six example implementations provided include manufacturing order number transfers and plant number inclusions in batch numbers. Detailed documentation and source codes till Release 4.5 are contained in transport request P99K001683, with integration instructions provided for system imports through transaction codes and support notes references.
