Summary :
In SAP NetWeaver BW, the automatisms configured for transactional InfoCubes (autoqualok, autocompress, autorollup) trigger when the transactional request is closed, even if the closure occurs during the shift from transactional to loadable mode in a process chain. However, these automatisms do not activate for normal requests in process chains. The issue arises because transactional requests, which automatically engage automatisms, are created during transactional activities, not within the process chain management. The advised solution modifies the InfoCube’s behavior upon executing RSAPO_SWITCH_TRANS_TO_BATCH to prevent automatism execution in background operations, requiring the implementation of specific support packages based on the BW system version.
