Summary :
Prior to SAP Release 3.1, investment measures (internal orders/WBS elements with automatic AuC) using processing type 1 (automatic) were settled to specified receivers according to FUL (full settlement) distribution rules, even if the status was set to TECO (Technically Completed) or CLSD (Closed) after the settlement period. From Release 4.0A onwards, automatic settlements are directed only to the asset under construction unless statuses are updated to TECO or CLSD within the same period. These changes address a program bug and alter the settlement logic, requiring careful management of status changes and settlement executions to ensure accurate financial postings.
