In SAP systems, excessively frequent checks for delayed actions, as indicated by high numbers of DEL. THCALL (ST03) or <DELAYED FUNCTION CALL> in statistics transactions STAD or ST03, root from an issue introduced in kernel patch 158. Although these records largely reflect system checks and do not affect performance (with typical response times under 1ms), a new kernel patch has been provided to reduce the frequency of these checks, thereby aligning with optimal system operations.
