Summary :
Users may encounter several issues in SAP’s View Designer concerning the preview functionalities, due to various underlying causes. Errors such as "Object expected" appear due to a mishandling of JavaScript files and premature mode changes. A "403 Forbidden" error surfaces when essential services are deactivated or HTTP is incorrectly used instead of HTTPS. Proxy-related issues necessitate proper entries in the HTTPURLLOC table, while an entirely white preview area demands a careful check of this table for incorrect entries. Additionally, to prevent "The page cannot be displayed" errors, ensure the icm/host_name_full parameter properly displays a specified host name and excludes "localhost".
