Diagnosis
When calling the detail display of planned/actual values for amaterial, an incorrect system setting meant that a selection variantwas used which led to an error accessing the information system.
In markdown planning, two selection variants are needed to read theactual values from the information system and compare the plannedfigures for a markdown plan. You can maintain these variants inCustomizing and must always give them the indicators MDFV1 and MDFV2.
The system uses MDFV1 to read the stock key figures from the assignedstock information system. These key figures are displayed in the headerof the detail screen.
The system uses MDFV2 to read period-specific key figures from theassigned information structure. These key figures are displayedaccording to price phase in the items on the detail screen.
When you called the detail display of planned/actual key figures, thesystem did not find the selection variants.

System Response
You cannot go from the planned/actual values to the detail display.

Procedure
Create the relevant selectionvariants in Customizing. Please note that the entries in the detailscreen must be exactly the same as the entries in the standard system,and that the assigned information structure containes the same fieldnames as those in the detail display.
