Diagnosis
The knowledge base runtime version contains configuration profiles ofdifferent types (nested KMAT and non-nested KMAT).

System Response
When configuration profiles of different types appear in a decompositionhierarchy, the corresponding profile combinations are invalid in the SAPR/3 variant configurator, according to SAP Note 148778, and you mustthen treat a subordinate KMAT as a non-configurable material. The IPCdoes not support this instance.

Procedure
Select configuration profiles in a knowledge base that are as much aspossible all of the same type (nested KMAT or non-nested KMAT).
