SAP Message VR406 - Amount & is incorrectly written

Diagnosis
The amount is technically incorrect. This could be because

  • it contains digits which are not allowed

  • it contains blanks

  • it has more than one +/- sign

  • unpermitted digits follow the decimal point

  • too many decimal places have been specified

    Check for the above causes and, if necessary, contact your systemadministrator.
