Diagnosis
In the SAP standard system, a material managed using serial numberscannot be distributed to the decentralized Warehouse Management System.

Procedure
There are two alternative methods of permitting distribution to thedecentralized WarehouseManagement System
:

• In order to use serial
numbers in the decentralized WMS, you must maintain the relevantindicator in Customizing.
To do this, choose the activity
Define Interface to Inventory Management and Delivery-Relevant Datain Customizing for Decentralized WMS Integration.

• To be able to distribute the delivery to the decentralized WMS without
serial numbers, you must set Optional Serialization in theserial number profile.
