Diagnosis
For the item category of the main batch item, an indicator
controls that all the cumulated total quantity of all split itemsshould be packed for an item with batch management requirement. Thissetting is overwritten by the system if at least onebatch split item isassigned to a HU-managed storage location. This ensures that only thesplit items are packed (compulsory if you useHandling Unit Management
).
The checks on the delivery have shown that the main batch item &V1& isalready packed. Therefore, you cannot assign a HU-managed storagelocation to the dependent batch split item because it is not possibleto pack the split item as long as the main item is packed.

System Response
The system outputs this message in order for you to correct thedelivery. You cannot save the delivery as long as the packing datacontains errors.

Procedure
Call the packing transaction and unpack the main batch item &V1&, orensure that none of the batch main items for item &V1& is assigned to aHU-managed storage location.
