Diagnosis
Changing a configuration means that a component, already available inthe sales order, is no longer part of the resulting bill of material.
The relevant item can, however, no longer be deleted in the salesorder.
Examples of when an item can no longer be changed:

• Subsequent documents with reference to this item have already been
created

• The item was created from a complete reference


• The item has a controlling object that has already been posted


• Sales order stock already exists for the item
