Procedure
When assigning the schedule line categories in Customizing, make surethat the appropriate schedule line categories are maintained for therelevant combination of item category &V1& and MRP type &V2& for thematerial.
Maintain at least four schedule line categories for which the followingapplies:

• First schedule line category

Relevance for MRP and delivery, if necessary at all

• Another alternative schedule line category

Relevance for MRP; no relevance for delivery

• Another alternative schedule line category

Relevance for delivery; no relevance for MRP

• Another alternative schedule line category

Neither relevance for delivery nor relevance for MRP
When maintaining the schedule line categories, it is recommended thatthe availability check is not activated for the categories mentionedabove.
