Diagnosis
Meaning of the return code:
0: Ended OK
The import ran without errors
4: Ended with warnings
All selected objects were imported successfully. For individual objectsthings happened that might not have been intended.
8: Import error
Individual objects could not be imported (completely). The import logcontains more precise error messages on the rejected objects.
Examples:
- Consistency check on the import data returns errors
- Object is locked by another user
- Missing maintenance authorization for an object
16: Import cancelled
The Customizing import was cancelled due to a serious error. Eithernone of the objects could be imported, or not all of the objects wereimported.
Examples:
- No changes to the logon client are allowed
- Program termination during import

Read the warnings
8: Import error
Read the error messages and investigate the causes. After removing thecauses of the errors you can repeat the Customizing import of thefaulty objects.
16: Import cancelled
Investigate the cause of the cancellation. Repeat the Customizingimport after removing the cause; modify the selection of objects ifnecessary.
