SAP Message USMD1089 - Data model &1, ent.type &2, hier. attribute &3: Data type &4 is invalid

Diagnosis
The following data types are currently not supported forhierarchy attributes:

  • LCHR Long character string, requires INT2 field prefix

  • LRAW Long byte sequence, requires INT2 field prefix

  • RAW Uninterpreted sequence of bytes

  • RAWSTRING Variable long sequence of bytes

    • System Response
    Processing terminates.

    Procedure
    Change the data type of the data element or choose a different dataelement for the hierarchy attribute.
