SAP Message USMD1019 - Data model &1, entity type &2: Invalid data element &3

Diagnosis
The entity type &V2& is used in the hierarchies of entity type &V4& asan additional entity type with the usage Hierarchy Name. The dataelement defined for the entity type must fulfill the following technicalprerequisites:

  • Data type: CHAR, NUMC or CUKY

  • Maximum length: 30 characters

    • At least one of the prerequisites is not fulfilled for the dataelement.

    System Response
    The data model cannot be saved or activated.

    Procedure
    Specify a data element for entity type &V2& that fulfills the relevantprerequisites.
