SAP Message UPX121 - Error when calling up Microsoft Excel: &1

Diagnosis
The cause of the error that has occurred depends on the error codeissued:

  • EXCEL_WRONG_VERSION

    • An old version of Microsoft Excel is installed on your PC. For salesplanning, you need to use Excel 97 or a higher version.
    • EXCEL_VIEWER_NOT_INSTALLED

      • Microsoft Excel could not be called up. The cause could be the failedinstallation of Microsoft Office or Microsoft Windows.
      • ERROR_CONNECTING_TO_SAP

        • Microsoft Excel was called up, the add-in for sales planning is active,but the RFC connection to the SAP System could not be realized. Thiscould be due to a network problem or a problem in the SAP RFC Libraryon your PC.
        • PLANNING_ADDIN_NOT_INSTALLED

          • The add-in for sales planning with local Excel is not installed on yourPC or is not registered in the add-ins manager. Check whether the fileCRMSALESPLANNING.XLA exists on your PC and whether it is found andselected in Microsoft Excel under Extras -> Add-Ins Manager.
