Diagnosis
The IDoc number must be known for the posting to be carried out in thetarget system. This is automatically determined by the system. Forobjects of type &V2& with key &V3& and validity &V4&, however, no IDocswere found. According to the settings in the partner profile, thedetermination of the number must be manually triggered.

System Response
The system issues an error message during object posting because it isincomplete.
The system issues a warning if the IDoc is set to "Obsolete".

Procedure
Execute the function "Find object IDocs" (under "Inbound" in the menu).
If the problem is still there, check in the source system whether theIDoc was transferred to the target system (IDoc status 03). If it wasnot transferred, execute the "Process IDocs" function (under "Outbound"in the menu).

Procedure for System Administration
If possible set up the ALE partner profile in the sender so that theIDocs are transferred directly to the receiver.
