Diagnosis
In addition to the hierarchy-bearing characteristic, hierarchy &V1&also contains nodes on the characteristic with the technical name &V2&.This characteristic is also contained in the current planning layoutand is in the header area or in the data columns. However, if thehierarchy is displayed in the entry screen, then characteristic &V2& isalso contained in the lead column.

System Response
Hierarchy &V1& cannot be used in the current planning layout.

Procedure
If you want to display a BW hierarchy in the lead column of a planninglayout, then either use hierarchies with postable nodes or hierarchiesthat only contain text nodes in addition to the hierarchy-bearingcharacteristic. If the hierarchy-bearing characteristic hashigher-level characteristics, then these characteristics should becontained in the header area of the planning layout.
