Diagnosis
In a field that can only accept figures, you have made an entry thatcannot be interpreted as a figure. It is possible that the characterstring you entered contains gaps or letters, or the grouping inthousands is set incorrectly. Possibly a character string was alsoentered, which cannot be interpreted as a floating point.

System Response

Procedure
Enter a decimal number with a maximum of &V2& decimal places, or entera floating point in a valid format. The following formats are allowed:

• Decimal number with or without +/- signs, with or without decimal
points.

• E, where the mantissa is a decimal number, and the
exponent can be entered with or without +/- signs.
Blank characters are allowed before or after the figure.
