SAP Message UPP_LB102 - Maximum number of presentable columns (256) was exceeded

Diagnosis A maximum of 256 columns can be displayed in manual planning. Thisnumber was exceeded. The most probable cause for this is using too few restricted dynamiccharacteristics in the columns of the layout. Procedure Restrict the dynamic characteristic which is used in the columns of thelayout, in the planning package, or in the planning list so that thenumber of 256 columns is not exceeded in the layout.
