A compound relationship exists for characteristics.
The "Characteristic is a document property" indicator is set in BW for acharacteristic. However this property is not set for the higher-levelcharacteristic. For this reason, no documents can exist.

For characeristics with compound relationships, make sure that the"Characteristic is a document property" is always set for the higher-
level characteristic too. This information is used in many differentplaces in document management.
