You can either do this in themaintenance of variables (if the variable has the replacement type'fixed value' or 'user-specific values') or with the help of the 'SetVariables' function (if the variable has the replacement type'user-specific values' and the indicator 'Input Allowed by User' isset). If the variable of the replacement type is 'user exit', the exitmust deliver a value.
