SAP Message UMG409 - Transaction SPUMG is currently locked. Undefined status (see long text).

Diagnosis
You called transaction SPUMG but a status check found that SPUMG cannotbe executed because its status is currently not defined.
The status check during startup of SPUMG checks

  • if a standalone conversion or a CU<(>&<)>UC procedure is currently
    • running and
    • if transaction SPUMG is called for the first time in the system

      • Procedure
      Execute transaction SE24
      Enter class CL_UMG_INFO
      Press F8 (Test)
      Confirm the defaults for the generic parameter types
      Execute the method EXPORT_HW_TIMESTAMP
      A flag is stored on database which allows the execution of SPUMG. Nowexecute SPUMG and check its status.
