SAP Message UGMD118 - The key of field &1 is too long

Diagnosis
The key for field &V1& is &V2& characters long - including theindependent characteristics. The system only allows keys up to &V3&characters.

System Response

  • During save, the settings will not be saved.

  • In other cases, processing is terminated.

    Choose different fields, or change the technical properties for thefield or associated InfoObject &V4&.
